Lenovo recalls some laptop batteries

       It was learned from the website of AQSIQ that Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. submitted a recall report to the AQSIQ and decided to recall lithium-ion batteries of some models of ThinkPad notebooks, involving a total of 117,732 units.

It is reported that since March 27, 2014, the recall has been part of the model that was sold between October 2010 and April 2011 in the Mainland (involving China's mainland machine models are Edge 11, Edge 13 series, T410, X100e, X201, X201s series) Lithium-ion battery for ThinkPad notebooks.
Lenovo said that the battery of the product involved in this recall will malfunction under accidental conditions, resulting in overheating of the battery casing and potential safety hazards. Lenovo (Beijing) Co., Ltd. will replace lithium-ion batteries for free in the recall range to eliminate potential safety hazards.
